Je compte installer le nouveau FW One. Mais avant, je dois désinstaller celui du lecteur.
Avez vous une facon simple de voir sur le Sony le modèle / version de FW installé ? C'est un de ceux à double signature (swith hold à changer au boot)
J'irais ensuite télécharger le "bon" revert.

It includes previous sound signatures, like Midnight or Dawn (as "Warm" and "Bright"), as well as "Neutral" (a combination between Midnight/Dawn) and the "WM1Z" stock sound.

For each one of these sound signatures you can choose between the Normal mode, the Plus v1 mode, or the Plus v2 mode.

Make sure to read info that is available in the downloaded firmware archive, as well as on the website, in the FAQ section.

I was on FEV2+ on my wm1A before installing the new one.
I had the choice between normal and plus mode (normal should be Midnight, and plus should be Dawn ?).

The sound the most similar should be Dawn I
Guess, when I booted with lock on.
About the plus mode, was it Plus V1 or V2 ?

Please also read info about the settings file and how to change the sound signature.

There are 4 sound signatures: Neutral, Warm, Bright, and WM1Z.

Warm is Midnight, and Bright is Dawn.

Each one of these 4 sound signatures have their own Normal and Plus modes.

You can choose between Plus v1 mode and Plus v2 mode in the settings file.

So if you'd want it to sound like Dawn, you'd need to have the Bright sound signature.

Excellent ce firmware Walkman One. En effet cela demande un peu plus de concentration quand on veut choisir la signature voulue, les instructions sont très claires cela dit.
Merci pour ce travail formidable Mr Walkman et surtout pour la patience de répéter d'innombrables fois que toutes les infos nécessaires à l'utilisation du firmware sont inscrites un peu partout en fait...

Je pense que beaucoup de personnes pensent que le fait de débrancher le stockage USB correspond au redémarrage du lecteur car il crée à ce moment là la bibliothéque, mais ce n'est pas le cas !!

Il faut bien éteindre et rallumer le lecteur comme précisé.

Pour ma part sur le ZX300 je teste Neutral, MX3, DAC différent, plus v2, gain normal. Mon casque Denon mm400 répond très bien à ce réglage avec un son très vivant/musical, un scène sonore très vaste. Et ça ne manque pas de détail, le travail de mixage sur certains titres est parfois surprenant, je remarque le placement de certains son de façon bien plus localisé que ce que j'avais pu remarquer par le passé.
Pourtant je n'était pas particulièrement fan de cette association casque /DAP par auparavant.

J'ai utilisé project Z, fev2 et midnight v2, chacun avait des caractéristiques intéressantes. Je crois que la batterie tiens mieux sur walkman one que project z. J'ai aussi l'impression que la création de la bibliothèque est plus rapide

by the way, would you have any idea why i can not connect to the remote control ? It tries to connect and then "connexion not possible"... Matter of region code ?
