Due to the presence of considerable high-frequency noise in DSD signals, the design of the backend filters for DAC playback should differ from PCM. However, typical systems only have a single set of low-pass filters, prioritizing PCM while "accommodating" DSD.
Can we use two sets of filters with different characteristics to process different signals?
This was the initial intention behind the R4's dual-circuit design. After completing the initial principle verification phase, we found the results promising. To avoid mutual interference, we separated the power, DAC, and filters into two independent circuits, designing a complete dual-circuit system.
From the frequency response graph, we can observe that Circuit 1 (PCM) has richer and more extended high frequencies, while Circuit 2 (DSD) highlights the mid-to-low frequencies. In terms of listening experience,
Circuit 1 produces lively and clear sound, while
Circuit 2 delivers warm and full sound, representing two distinct styles.
When we introduced this design to the media, some experts suggested that since there are two distinct sound styles, why not allow users to freely choose between them, achieving a machine with two different tuning options? We also found this suggestion excellent, and we are currently evaluating its implementation to unlock more possibilities. Stay tuned for updates. >>

La version noir n'est pas dégueux.
Je suis curieux de lire plus de retour sur le son et la batterie en symétrique (également au sujet de la version limitée).
Par contre, il est quand-même assez balèze (presque les mêmes dimensions que le Xuelin H6).

Je ne sais pas si c'est cette revue que j'ai vu sur You Tube mais j'en ai regardé une où le testeur était en extase devant l'aspect futuriste de ce DAP qu'il a montré sous toutes les coutures mais sans un mot sur la qualité du son! Pour moi, qualité du son et ergonomie sont mes principaux critères pour un DAP.
j'ai hésité à mettre cette vidéo, je n'aime pas << regarder de l'audio >> surtout sur Youtube, mais je poste pour tous les autres.
il parle de l'aspect sonore à un moment de la vidéo, tu as le chapitrage de disponible.
il faut le dire le design c'est l'essentiel marketing du R4 et ça marche, en noir il est vraiment réussi visuellement,
sinon ça reste un dap de plus, à voir ce qu'il donne à l'écoute pour ceux qui vont l'acheter ici

pour l'instant je reste avec mon ti FC6 de chez Hiby qui est une véritable réussite.... j'en suis devenu gaga

le R4 te donne un maximum pour le prix, avec une obsolescence lointaine mais pour un premier dap, ou le remplacement d'un modèle de gamme inférieure pourquoi pas.. ou juste pour le duo design / couleur, pas besoin d'être rationnel pour acheter un truc.
Surtout que Hiby aime ben nous offrir des paramètres audio supplémentaires avec des mises à jour ultérieures, ce sera le cas avec le R4
